My step-father did not approve of my schoolwork, but, nonetheless, I loved my stay at Collins Cove.

We visit Collins Cove throughout the year, usually for a week at a time, but often longer. Each season has its own engaging charms. We feed gaggles of wild turkeys when snow covers the ground in winter and watch the ice choked St. George from the comfort of our living room. Summer has us on the water, kayaking or just hanging out on the dock watching eagles and ospreys fishing, and lobster boats pulling in their traps. Autumn in New England speaks for itself visually.

it is a lovely escape from whatever is the madness of the moment, and when we are away for more than a few weeks, we get itchy to get back.
